JASON PIEDMONTE – President
Jason is a Traverse City native and graduated with a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University. From there, he worked in the oil and gas industry in numerous roles. He has worked for the past 15 years in the financial services industry. Jason currently advises clients at J.P. Morgan Securities. Jason is on the Finance Council at St. Joseph Church, a member of the Diocese of Gaylord Investment Committee. He was also a member of the Grand Traverse County Economic Development Corporation & Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and a Past President of the Traverse Bay Twilight Rotary Club. Jason currently resides in Traverse City with his wife Scarlett and their four children.
FATHER DON GEYMAN – Chaplain/Vice President
Father Don was born and raised in Ida, Michigan. From there he went on to earn his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He worked in public accounting for Plante Moran for three years before his calling to the priesthood. Father Don has served in a variety of positions in his priesthood as an Associate Pastor and Pastor. Most recently he has served as the Pastor of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Gaylord and he is the current Pastor of St. Francis Assisi in Traverse City. Fr. Don is the former Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Gaylord and the former President of the Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools.
RICK POLJAN – Secretary
Rick was born and raised in Chelsea, MI and went on to graduate from Central Michigan University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Rick went on to work in the manufacturing industry and has held a variety of positions in his 30+ year career. Rick has successfully owned and operated a manufacturing representative firm for the last 25 years. He also owns and manages a large portfolio of industrial, commercial and residential real estate. He has served on a variety of professional and charitable boards. He is a former Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus and a parish council member. Rick resides in Lansing, MI with his wife Amy and their seven children.
SCARLETT PIEDMONTE – Marketing Director
Scarlett brings a wealth of knowledge and ability to our board. She is a Traverse City native and went on to graduate with a B.A. in Art Education from Michigan State University. From there, she has worked in a variety of roles. She has owned and operated the premier photography firm in Northern Michigan, Photography by Scarlett, for the past 15 years. Scarlett has provided countless hours of gratis photography work for numerous non-profits and charitable causes. Scarlett currently resides in Traverse City with her husband Jason and their four children.
WILLIAM KOZYRA II – Director
Bill was born and raised in Rochester, MI and went on to graduate with a B.S. in Business Management from Oakland University. He then went on to obtain his MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy. Bill has worked in the automotive industry holding a wide variety of titles over the past 15 years. Bill is currently the President of TI Automotive, New Haven. He has also taken an active role in many charities including Notre Dame Preparatory Academy, U.S. Lacrosse, the Boy Scouts of America and the Detroit Zoological Society. Bill resides in Lake Orion, MI with his wife Jill. They are expecting their first child in November of 2018!
MICHAEL BEAN – Treasurer
Michael was born and raised in Chatham, ON and chose to attend Northwood University. While there, he graduated with a B.S. in Accounting. Michael then moved north to Traverse City and has worked in a variety of positions in the accounting field. He has worked in public and corporate accounting. Currently he is the Financial Controller for Electro Optics Technology. Michael is a member of the Lake Leelanau St. Mary Parish and School Finance Council. In addition, he is member of the St. Mary Endowment Committee. Michael currently resides in Lake Leelanau with his wife Syrena and their three children.
